This notice describes how we process personal data collected through the website sorrisoadriatico.com and through direct contact by email and WhatsApp, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian law, including Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended.

Data and purposes
The website does not contain any data collection forms. We process:
- technical browsing data (for example IP address, date and time, requested page), recorded automatically by the server for the operation and security of the website;
- data you send us voluntarily by email or WhatsApp (for example name, contact details, treatment of interest and preferred timing), to answer your request and, only with your consent, to put you in touch with one or more partner clinics.
Please do not send us diagnoses, medical reports, X-rays, dental photographs or other health data: clinical information will be collected directly by the clinic. We do not use your contact details for newsletters or promotions.
Legal bases
Answering your request is based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Sharing your contact details with clinics is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which we will ask for before forwarding them. Website security is based on our legitimate interest in protecting our systems (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Recipients and transfers
Data is processed by authorised staff and by technical providers: Google Cloud (website hosting, on servers in the European Union), Google Workspace (email) and WhatsApp, if you contact us through that channel. These providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
With your consent, your contact details may be shared with partner dental clinics based in Albania, which act as independent controllers and will provide you with their own privacy notice. Albania is outside the EEA: the transfer takes place in compliance with the conditions and safeguards of Chapter V of the GDPR. You can ask for information about these safeguards by writing to info@sorrisoadriatico.com. Data is not disclosed to the public.
Retention
Browsing data is kept for a limited period, normally no longer than 30 days, unless needed for security reasons. Data from requests received by email or WhatsApp is kept for as long as needed to handle them and, as a rule, no longer than six months after the request is closed. Proof of consent and data required for legal obligations or for the defence of legal claims may be kept for the applicable periods.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability and objection, by writing to info@sorrisoadriatico.com. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal, and you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
